About Me

Hi, I'm Matt and welcome to my photography business, 'Eyland Images'.

I studied to be a film and documentary cameraman in York in the UK, but switched my focus to still photography while living in Scotland and surrounded by spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife.

I shot my first wedding about 3 years ago, and with around 50 under now my belt, I'm still enjoying every moment. It's great to be part of someone's big day, capturing all the great memories for them, forever.
Each wedding is different, surprising and challenging to my skills, and I love the variation I get from the job.

At the end of 2011 I relocated to the wonderful country of New Zealand and it's certainly a decision I don't regret! I am very much looking forward to building my business here and photographing all the friendly people of this fantastic country.
